Condolences
Janet & Jessie,
I will miss Wayne’s enthusiasm and passion for wanting to “right the wrongs in the world.” Our world certainly needs more people like Wayne.
I appreciated all his enthusiastic advice on the dos and don’ts of owning a Campervan. He was a fountain of knowledge and I felt happy to call him my friend.
My love and support to you both

My heartfelt condolences. Wayne and I never met, but we corresponded on and off for 15 years...on noise pollution in the city, be it air conditioners or gas-powered leaf blowers.
I will continue our activism for a peaceful and quiet environment.
RIP Wayne!
Janet and Jessie, I am so very sorry to learn Wayne lost his brave battle. You are in my thoughts and my heart now and forever.

Despite saying our goodbyes I was deeply saddened to hear of my good friend's passing. Wayne and I originally bonded over our mutual love of cycling, but I soon learned it only scratched the surface. Wayne was well read, and very passionate and knowledgeable about many subjects, I will miss our conversations over a pint and a burger. I knew him to be a good husband and father, and he often spoke fondly of his travels and experiences with his family.
Janet and Jesse - my heart goes out to you both.
Rob

Roy.
We will miss walking with Wayne, his smile, his passion for the environment and his genuine interest in others.
He was a very humble man who enjoyed making his community a better place for all.

This man’s willpower was a force of nature. Watching him challenge the construction of a mega-wind farm in Lomond Alberta—all while fighting cancer—was beyond belief. Rest in peace, Wayne. You have my eternal gratitude.
Wayne was full of fun and energy. He was always eager to help either the community or friends. For almost two decades when Janet and I were the organizers for BP’s many events, Wayne was always there tirelessly helping out. His enthusiasm and energy were greatly appreciated.
The many fun times Wayne, Janet, my husband and I attended Stage West together have become fond memories we will not soon forget.
Wayne will always be missed and remembered as our good friend.
Love,
Addy and Dennis
