Condolences
Dear Tets,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Moira, your life-long love of 49 years. May her generosity of spirit and kindness of heart be remembered forever, just as these notes of love are woven into the fabric of our lives. To witness her thoughtful and beautiful notes and gifts, a few examples of her artistry are attached for all to see. You will no doubt have a few of your own to share. A painting of her mother with Moira walking down the lane in Broughty Ferry made you feel you were part of her life too.
Scotland was in every conversation, her father’s Mill, Broughty Ferry, St. Andrews, Edinburgh, castles, cliffs, flowers and fields, Ruins and Castles, Bagpipers, and cobblestones and her many friends from clubs for hiking, wine, and theater to name a few.
Moira would never share her age, nor did she seemed burdened by it as she proved by obtaining her degree in Fine Arts with first class honours, quite an accomplishment after retirement. Accordingly, I believe Moira deserves the honourable title of Lady of Broughty Ferry, a true Scot and we wish her safe journey home.

Dear Tetsuro and family -
I am sending our heartfelt sympathy at Moira's passing. So sorry for your loss, and it might be especially hard at this time of year. I sincerely believe that Moira was greeted by loved ones on the other side who welcomed her home. We hope that you are with friends and others to help you at this difficult time. Please reach out if there is anything I can help with.
Mihoko and I have been working on a project and she recalled how you met Moira playing badminton with their group - so fun to hear that she had to come all the way from Scotland to meet you and fall in love. I hope that you can find solace in all the great memories you made in the 49 years together.
Recently, I have been thinking alot about your parents and how I appreciated their kindness to me and my family. Consequently I have been trying to do more research about them and their families as a way to show my appreciation to them. Family are very important and those relationships we make in this life. Take care, Shelley (Hironaka) and Peter Kutney
