Deep sorrow for the loss of Elena. So many memories of laughter and music. Oh she could sing and I remember hours and hours of asking her for more. Manuel and Pasqualino, my thoughts are with you.

Elena was one of the sweetest and funniest people that I’ve had the pleasure to know. Though it has been many years since I last saw her I still remember her laugh and how she saw humor in everything! Earth is a sadder place without her.

Manuel, I am sad and in disbelief that Elena is gone. There are no words to express how sorry I am. I will cherish all of the happy memories and all of the laughter. She actually told me just a short time ago that she had dreamed of my Mom and they were laughing together. She was a big part of our lives for so many years and she was always such a loyal friend. Our family loved her very much. I wish you lots of love and that you find the strength to carry you in the coming days.

So many memories… El and I started at transit together. I always blamed her for convincing me to become a supervisor. I still can’t believe she’s gone. My sincere condolences to her family. Words can’t express how sorry I am. She will be missed but will live on in all our cherished memories.
It was a pleasure seeing my favourite aunt's children grow up with us in Fairview - our cousins becoming brothers and sisters. As long as "you," Elena, rejoin your mother and father, sad as we are right now, we rejoice with you being with them and many other of our family members. Give hugs to all.
Dear Manuel and Family,
Words cannot express our grief in learning of Elena's passing. Her friendship started at Transit and blossomed over the years. Elena's visits were filled with enlightened conversation on any topic and her laugh was heard often. Coupled with food, playing the piano and her cards, every visit was thoroughly enjoyed. She often talked of Mary and her kids as well as Manuel and you could feel that unbreakable bond of Italian love she had for them.
I do not want to imagine this world without Elena but knowing she is in Heaven with her beloved Ma and Pa and her pets, brings comfort.

I’m still in disbelief that you’re gone. We had big plans to road trip when you got out of the hospital and now you can go wherever you want at anytime! I’m going to miss you so much and cherish every lovely memory of our friendship. I know you’re in a good place with all your family in heaven and even some friends that left before you. I’ll keep working on the family tree we made, I already updated you ;-). And if I ever make it to Italy I’m going to the places you told stories about. I’ll leave something there for you. Miss you my dear friend. I already let The Pope know to put you in his prayers.
