Condolences
Hans was my Gr 7 teacher at Col Irvine Jr High. I think it was one of his first teaching jobs. He was kind of like a To sir with love teacher, we were in awe of him and he taught us girls to act respectively. I remember a great teacher who liked kids and liked to laugh. RIP Hans and thanks for the memories. My condolences to his family.
Todd, Ineke, Tyler, Troy and families,
Hans embodied joy, laughter, love, and kindness. He appreciated the little things and had a huge heart. He beamed with pride for his boys and loved the time he spent with you, and on the phone with you.
To have had the opportunity to spend time with your dad these past five months, has been an honour and a blessing. I will miss him terribly, hold our memories dear and remember him always.
My heartfelt sympathy for your sudden loss.
Hugs and love,
Krista Hill
Van Biezen Family,
So sorry for your family's loss. Hans was truly an incredible man. When he walked into the room, you noticed him. You were drawn to him and he drew you into his world. He truly listened when you talked to him and he truly cared about what was going on in your life. I witnessed how much he loved his granddaughters, Taylor and Taryn, and how proud he was of them both and was excited for what the future held for them. Although he was sometimes a man with few words for his sons, he did have a twinkle in his eye when he was here in Texas and watching how his son, Troy, has worked hard, achieved his goals and continues to reach his goals with Carol by his side. Hans will be missed and again so sorry for your aching hearts. Sending you big hugs from Texas!
Fox Family- Todd, Ginger, Brecken and Kiernan
So sorry to hear of Hans' passing. Deepest sympathy to all the families. I attended school with Hans in Three Hills AB. Lots of memories. Our families had a connection through the swimming pool where both our parents worked. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the service. May he rest in peace.
Troy, Carol and family,
I was saddened to hear of Hans' passing. I remember his jovial spirit, quick smile and passion for his family, friends and neighbours. He made a difference in the Airdrie community and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Very sad to hear the passing of Hans. I met Hans and Ann when they moved into the BigSprings home and we hit it off. I was honored to sign Hans membership form into the Airdrie Legion. Every chance Hans and Ann had to dance they were always there showing everyone how it was done. The love and respect they had for each other showed in their dance and comradeship. we did get into some mischief but fun mischief.
Rest In Peace Comrade
