Condolences
Nobby was truly a special soul to me! I so enjoyed our many hours together, our drives to Fish Creek Park and sitting on "our" bench just enjoying that moment in time. The countless times he made me laugh with his many fantastic and such interesting life stores - many bringing tears of laughter to my eyes. He praised my driving skills often which I took great pride in and he told me countless times how he's never met a woman who knows so much about so many sports to which I replied, if I played as much sports as I watched I'd be the fittest woman on the planet and gosh did he laugh at that! Hilarious golf stories, memories as a child, work shenanigans, travelling the globe and his love for his family.
One of the funniest memories I had was when the big tree in front of Nobby's house was trimmed which no longer allowed privacy through the window of his home office, he said, "damn now I can't walk naked in my office anymore" and I asked him, "did you do that before", to which he replied deadpan, "No but now I can't if I wanted too!"
Nobby, I felt I knew you a lifetime and want to thank Diane & David for their kindness, generosity and allowing me to care for their dear father. I'll never forgot you or the wonderful memories made. Godspeed Nobby and I know you're looking down with that beautiful smile after making that hole in one - you lived your life well my friend!
Sorry for you loss, Del and I worked with Nobby at Western Union. He was always a very nice man.
Our deepest sympathy to the Kamitakahara family .
Nobby was a very inspiring man , great energy & athletic too .
We can remember him roller blading around our area in Douglasdale , plus hearing about his golfing each week .
