My condolences to Carol's family & friends. I knew Carol from many years ago, she used to babysit my brother and I in Montreal. My parents told us a story that they went out one night and left Carol to babysit. They forgot something and returned about 5 minutes later to find Carol standing on the kitchen counter trying to reach my mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies that were hidden very high - she knew where mom's hidden spots were! I have many fun memories of Carol & Terri camping with us in Massawippi, especially when we all got soaked from torrential rains and draped the car with the canvas tent to try to dry it out.

Carol & Terri babysat us over the years and I cherish all the memories in my heart.

Thank you Carol for introducing me to Supertramp at a very young age :)

Carol was a true gem of a soul. Such a strong, funny, charismatic woman. I loved catching up with her during her massage therapy sessions with me. We'd laugh the entire time. She brought such joy to the world. She will definitely be missed.

I am truly heartbroken to hear of her passing.

Wat een verdrietig bericht dat Carol is overleden. Zij was de schakel tussen de Familie Ridders en de familie in Canada. In 2010 is Carol met haar broer Wim in Nederland geweest. Iedereen heeft haar omarmd en genoten van haar vrolijke, welgemeende belangstelling voor ons. Ik heb lieve gevoelens over haar gezellige logeerpartij en we hebben eindeloos gepraat, Het was zo vertrouwd.
