We go back to Eta sorority years back in the late 70s. Lynne has always been s faithful friend, sister, and kept us all in tune with many. Her family has always been a great concern and we send our condolences to Kim, David and your families. She’s made many adjustments the past two years due to her health. We feel she’s at rest now and won’t have to suffer her daily pains. We will miss you Lynne and your many stories you could tell. We had a toast to you today with our birthday group. You were sadly missed. Beta hugs from Melba Jean ( and Ron).
I have been lucky to call Lynne a Sorority Sister since 1978. We belonged to the same chapter and in more recent years we have been part of the birthday lunch group. We will meet again on Monday to give a toast to a brave, beautiful and loyal friend. Lynne, we will miss you every single time we get together. You have suffered so much, so bravely and now have a well deserved rest. My heartfelt condolences to Kim,David and families. She treasured you all and was so thankful for the support you gave her during her challenging years.
So sorry to hear of Lynne’s passing. I lived in Calgary for five years and a member of Beta Sigma Phi in Lynne’s chapter. I moved home to Newfoundland but kept in touch with her. She was such a pleasure to know and made me feel so welcome. My prayers go out to all her family.
To David and Kim and your respective families - we were so saddened to learn of Lynne’s passing on Jan. 10th, and would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you all. Lynne was a treasured friend to John and me for nearly 20 years, and we shall miss her lovely smile, gentle nature, and willingness to share her love and time with us as often as she could. She bore her pain and suffering with dignity and little complaint, and we will miss her soooo much. If there is anything you need, please call us and we’d be happy to help if we can. John & Madeleine Kane
