Condolences
I didn’t know Dave very well outside of our interactions each morning at the pool. But through those small interactions, Dave had an impact on me and I could tell how much his family meant to him. I am so sorry for the loss and my thoughts are with Dave’s family.
David was my wee cousin ,one of my “ain folk”.
His Mum ,my Aunt Mary ,and my Dad, John were the youngest of 7 children born in Clydebank,Scotland who were very close in spirit.
I never met David but feel I knew him. My own mother met Rose, David and family on her trips to Saskatoon and was so thrilled to have experienced meeting the Dykes family. Aunt Mary frequently sent albums of her children as they grew and we compared likenesses.
What a kind looking and handsome man David made ….I could see the Riddell in him!
Rose and Jodi and family; you will be heartbroken,I know.
Times ahead will be tough but I am sure David would not wish you to be sad but to remember all the good times that you shared and I hope these will be a source of comfort to you. People live on in you .David’s Uncle John , ( my Dad) taught me that and I feel David will in you and all who knew him,
All my love, Cousin Margaret
My sincere condolences Rose and family,
I've really enjoyed getting to know both you and Dave these past 10 years or so. Dave's warmth really shined through. Will be thinking of you as celebrate Dave's life this weekend.
Our heartfelt sympathies Rose. Cherish your many beautiful memories!
