I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Eric in Edmonton at the U of A. In 1958 I was a "Christmas Graduate" after a disastrous first term in Economics. After many weeks of unsuccessful job hunting, Eric arranged an interview with his dad for a possible Royal Bank job. Luckily I was hired, and started my banking career as a junior in Didsbury. As I recall, I think Eric even drove me down there! Although I only spent 11 years with the bank, I am eternally grateful to Eric for opening the door to a varied and rewarding career. Thank you Eric.
