Condolences
I met Bill as a medical student at the University of Saskatchewan circa 1957. Later we met again as medical colleagues, curlers and friends in Calgary in 1968.
We lived in the same area as Marg and Bill and I think one of my sons was a classmate of Diane at Central Memorial. My wife Doreen and Bill's wife Marg coincided frequently through Calgary Medical ladies curling, Calgary Medical wives gatherings, and as neighbors in Lakeview.
I cannot recall at any time other than pleasant discussion or competition with Bill, kind of always felt happier in his presence.
Kind regards and thoughts for his family and friends,
Warren Hindle and family.
Dear Donnie and Diane, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember him from the time I was a little girl all the way to when I worked at Lakeview Safeway. Big hugs to both of you as you navigate your new normal of your memories of him.

Jamie and I want to extend our deepest condolences during this difficult time. Our prayer is that you draw strength and comfort from our Lord and Saviour. Blessings to this family.
My deepest condolences go out to Diane and Don. Dr. McGeachy was a wise and kind man who made a deep impact on his children. I remember him fondly.
I was surprised and saddened to hear of Dr. McGeachy’s passing. He would insist I call him Bill because he was a humble, good-natured, and gracious person. I had the privilege of knowing him through his daughter and I have nothing but pleasant memories of the time we spent together. We would commiserate about New York City (a place he loved to visit) and have wide-ranging conversations about current events. Bill was a cultured and kind man; a loyal husband and loving father, a beloved colleague, and friend. Bill brought out the best in everyone and he will be sorely missed.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Bill. He will be sorely missed with his kind manner and gentle spirit. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his family.
Just saw Bill tonight for the last time with Diane. He looked great although Diane had to touch up his hair first. For the last dozen years he has been like a father to me. An inspiring, generous and giving man who never hesitated sharing with me his leftover ribs and pineapple. You will always be with me like my own father has been since his passing.
