Obituary of Sherrill (Sherri) Boyse

Sherrill Ann Boyse of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the age of 73 years.

She was a talented and an avid participant in badminton, golf, and bowling. Sherri was 5 times Canadian Junior Badminton Champion. She was also the Glencoe Club’s Ladies Champion in her prime.

Sherri loved to travel; she visited many memorable destinations, but her favourite was her trip to Africa.

She will be most remembered for her endless generosity and kindness.

Sherri is survived by her two brothers, Tom Boyse and his children Chis and Caylan Boyse, all of Calgary and Rick Boyse of Vancouver; two sisters; Bonnie Way and her children Cameron Way, Doug (Liz) Way, Shannon (Brad) Wickett and grandchildren Addison and Hudson Wickett; and Debbie (David) Pyke and her children Tyler (Lindsay) Pyke and Taryn (Rich) Walker and grandson Briggs. Sherri was predeceased by her parents, Shirley and Norm Boyse.

Sherri’s Celebration of Life will be held at The Glencoe Club (Downtown, 636 29 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2S 0P1) on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
