Condolences
Your sense of loss is surely felt by many. I knew Roy as a powerful supporter in Lodge Renfrew, through car dealings, and on a couple of occasions for great personal advice. A man of strong character and especially strong integrity. My condolences. Al Briggs
I have so many good memories of my friend and cousin, Roy.He was a kind and generous man. He was a loving and steadfast presence in our family as long as I remember. He and Shirley were especially loving and supportive during my mother's death and throughout the difficult weeks preceding my Dad's death. To me, it is difficult to imagine a world without Roy in it! I was saddened to hear of the passing of such a fine man. I first met Roy at the age of 16 in the Car business. He took me under his wing and always said "Dear old Dad" will take care of you. That he did! It has been 30 years since that day, and he never missed a beat though our lives went seperate ways - he always checked in. Roy and my father became good friends and he will always be remembered for his kind and thoughtful ways. Roy you will be dearly missed. Judy xo
What a kind, gentle soul Roy was. My father was a member of the Mounted Patrol and that's how I first got to know him. He was always sharing life lessons with my brothers, sister and me. I remember the Sunday morning brunches out at the patrol grounds and Roy teaching me how to crack an egg with one hand (something I still haven't mastered to this day!) Rest in peace, Roy
Dear Shirley, Trry and Richard Jim and relatives of Roy It is almot fifty years since I left Maclin Motors and thos were precious years spent at Maclin. I worked with Roy on the Stampede Committee and I so enjoyed his friendlyness and sense of humor. He was always warm and ready with a big hug. I will miss him.

He was an honourable man and always a pleasure to talk and reminise with. A true friend to my father (JIM) over the years. I was blessed to have him in my life recently and will miss him. My sincere condolences to the family.
