Thomas BAINBRIDGE

Obituary of Thomas Wesley BAINBRIDGE

Bainbridge, Thomas Wesley passed away suddenly on January 22, 2011 at home in Calgary. Predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth (2008) and Ernest (1977) of Chatham, ON. Thom..me acquired his first Geological Memoir in 1956 (25 cents), by selling cherries door-to-door with a buddy in Chatham Ontario, which he is most proud of, and his love and admiration of ALL ART remained during his ephaemeral existence for over a half Century. Thom is exceptionally pleased that his SpringOffs continue to enjoy and experience all aspects of life to Its fullest value: Erin (and Shawn), David, Elizabeth, Catherine and JacquelineNo less is expected for their presence as wise-minds are possessed by each, within their own dreams. Regards to ALL with whom Thom has crossed paths over the past 30+ years in Calgary and he hopes that he presented a few chuckles, novel thoughts and wasnt a complete a-hole, within the vernacular! Helluva lot of fun..and keep your vision! Cheers allbuy sunglassesand remember your Humour! Thom was an Uncle to Pat and Sean Trofin, an affectionate Papa-Thom to Kiedis and Audrie, and a friend to many. Thom will be greatly missed by his sister and best friend, Catherine (Dave Bonham), with whom he shared an unconventional view of life, and a love for the Haliburton Highlands and the cottage. Thom graduated with Honors from Queens (B.Sc. Geology 1973), and was a gifted geologist with a deep respect for Mother Nature. He was an avid golfer who never missed the CSPG tournament. Known as Mot, Thommy, t.buoy and Biff, he will be forever missed for his wit and innate ability to point out, with literary finesse, the foibles of life. At Thoms request, his remains will be cremated and there will neither be an internment or memorial as Mother Nature always wins. However friends and family are most welcome to join in a celebration of Thoms life. Details will follow at a later date. Please forward condolences or thoughts through www.hffs.com. Rejoice, rejoice, we have no choice.
