Condolences
George, It seems so unreal how much time has flown by since we last connected - and now it is over this sad sad news. Kim's passing pushes me to think of university days when I met Kim and how we hung out, perfecting our ping pong skills, in the Home Economics department students lounge. When we lived in HUB on the U of A campus she was my best friend and roomie. At a certain point she became your best friend and roomie and it was obvious that she loved you and your little dogs dearly. It will be hard to get used to a world without her physically present but it really means there is a special presence in the unseen realm of what surrounds us. The thought of that is great comfort for me and I hope the same for you. Shirley
I never had the good fortune to know Kim but had heard many times about she and George and the wonderful life they were having together. I regret that as a cousin of George's the miles seemed to keep us apart. My sincere condolences to George and all Kim's family. With thoughts and prayers. Cousin Jean
George, so very sorry to hear of your loss, thoughts and prayers to you and the family. Linda Powell
Dear George, My deepest condolences to you and to Kim's family at what must be an incredibly difficult time. What I remember most about Kim was her sense of humor, patience and her always striving to do the best she could for others. I recall her affection for Nina (and Mingus). On many occasions I would see Kim walking Nina in the green space outside the office. Regardless of the weather, Kim always looked happy to be spending a few minutes with Nina. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Carolyn
