Condolences
Johanna was my moms next door neighbour at Brentwood care centre. They spent many ours together. In the evening they sat in the hallway and provided comfort to each other. Mom with her rosary and Johanna with her little purse. Discussing the evening meal and general talk of who was coming and going. Lucy was there sometimes if a game wasn't on the tv. I just want to say your mom was very special and very much missed.
Very nice smile and a beautiful picture of her. She gave me some beautiful perennials from that beautiful garden of hers. Every year when they would come up in the spring and all summer long it's was like having a little bit of Joanna around me and her humble kind demeanour was an inspiration to me.. All that her daughter would tell me of her life with her Mom told me what kind of person she was and the incredible strength she showed throughout her life. I think anyone that new her was fortunate.
A wonderful neighbour for 25 years. Most of my plants came from Johanna's garden. Her last pussycat, Miss Lucy, now resides with me and my wee dog Benito. I will miss our recent monthly visits with Johanna when Miss Lucy would crawl all over her and purr in her ear. Goodbye Johanna.
