Condolences
So sad to find out that Gerry passed away. I met Gerry in 1969, and went to work for him in 1973 as a first year apprentice. I worked for him for 10 years, and then 2 years later on. He was an awesome boss, and a good friend. He blew me away in 1980 when he gave me a $5,000.00 christmas bonus. I'll never forget that.
To all of the Church family, we are sorry to hear of the passing of your dad Gerry. Gerry and Donna were good friends and great neighbours of ours for many years! Gerry was a true community guy! He will be missed.

Keith, Stewart, Tracey and families. Sorry to hear the passing of your dad and my biggest mentor. Gerry and your family played a very big part in my life's successes. Though it's not often that we speak or see each other, I often think of what he did for me and the times we had growing up. My sincere condolences. Frank

I am so heart broken. I loved Gerry so much. He was my boss as well as a mentor to me for many years with Academy! My heart is full of sadness. Thinking of all of the Church family at this time.
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad. We only got to meet him three or four times but thourghly enjoyed his visits. He talked about his children and grandchildren with pride and admiration. He also reminisced with the times he grew up and about my Dad (Clarence). He will be missed but not forgotten. Take care and stay safe. Your cousin Jeff (Sheila).
