To Mary's family we at CFUW Calgary express our sincere sympathies. Mary was a very genteel lady and valued former member of our cub. She served in many areas for us including provincially as Regional Director. We shared her obituary with our members. It certainly sparked conversation and remembrances. Investment club, bridge and her gentle ways. just to name a few.
Donna, Gwen, and family. Ros & I are saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. She was an incredible person, always kind and full of wit. We are thinking of you at this moment of pain. Glenn & Ros Soares
Our sympathy ,Donna,to you and all your family. We have very fond memories of Mary when we attended the Church of the Good Shepherd. Mary was always welcoming, and had a fine sense of humour. Her smile and her laugh were beautiful. Sincerely, Jon and Judy Sperry
Dear Donna, Gwendolyn, Harold and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Mary. She was a wonderful lady who always had a warm greeting, smile and kindly word. It is hard to believe that I've known her since I was 7 years old! She was a very special lady. You and Mary are all in my heart and prayers. Blessings, Ann
Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and grandmother. I remember her as always positive and calm especially when my Mom and your Dad would start with their political arguments. My Mom had many hours of playing bridge together and both my parents remember her cooking especially her rack of lamb.
Dear Harold, Maureen, Gwen, Mark and Donna, Your Mom lived such a long and for the most part, healthy life. Yet I felt so sad to see that she had passed away. I first met your Mom (Mrs. Wilson to me then!) when Susan and I were in high school. She was always so pleasant and seemed happy to see me when I'd go to visit or pick up Susan. I know all Susan's trials and tribulations were hard on her but as you say in the obit your Mom's matter of fact attitude helped her deal with the very sad outcome of Susan's struggles. I "re-met" your Mom (Mary to me by then!) when my parents moved to the Manor at Signature Park. I ran into Mary often (and some of you too!). Mary and I enjoyed many chats in the lobby and the dining room. She was always interested in how I was doing and always asked about my husband and my brothers. Always smiling, always gracious, always cheery. My parents liked her very much and were both impressed by her memory and her intellect. Mary lived in the apartment right above my parents. Mom passed away in November, 2017 and Dad in January 2021. When I drive by the Manor I always wave to that NE corner, my small way of acknowledging my Mom and Dad, but also your wonderful Mom. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Cathy Buckle
I have many fond childhood memories still of times with Mary and George. Condolences to Hal and Susan.

Donna so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom, may you find comfort in remembering all the happy, fun times, sending prayers to you & the family.
Thinking of the Wilson families. May you find peace in memories and stories of your mom and grandmother. My condolences.
I met Mary about 6 months ago while visiting a friend in the same unit as Mary. I was very impressed with her alertness, being 100. I always tried to have a short conversation with Mary and I felt so good when she flashed her beautiful smile and soft spoken words of acknowledgement. Mary was and continues to be an inspiration to all who met her. She will be a wonderful Angel and I will always believe she is an Angel watching over myself and her many friends of the Varsity Manor. RIP Mary
Sister Barb and I have so many fond memories of Mary (and of the Wilson family). Mary and our mother were close cousins/friends, and Mary's mother, "Aunt Florrie' was a special part of our young lives. We send condolences to the family along with our love and admiration for the wonderful Mary Wilson. (Flowers in tribute sent to Heritage Family Funeral Home.)
