I’ll always remember the family birthday parties on the back lawn in Woodlands and Mount Royal. Dot was the quiet Cooper so as a kid/teenager it was not easy to know her well. And that’s a shame because she had a sharp wit and an easy laugh. She was devoted to Larry and Ian /Gail.

Mira and I flew out for her 100 birthday and had a fun time. She clearly had many friends and seemed like she would live forever.

The changes she saw in her life are huge but she handled the good and the bad with equal aplomb.

I was proud to call her my Great Aunt because in her own quiet way she really was great. We will miss her.
