Condolences
I am so sorry for your loss. I feel Glenn was part of my family with all of our times we spent with your family over the years at BBQ's, weddings, singing contests, birthdays, anniversaries, or just spending time chatting at one of the restaurants. Glenn was such a loving man who cared for everyone who surrounded him, and I can't believe he is gone. My heart breaks for the loss but know that he is finally with his love. He was always larger than life to me, and I was so blessed to have known and spent time with him. My deepest condolences to his whole family.
Uncle Glenn, from the youngest of ages, I remember our families visiting each other. I never thought of Calgary as a city, but the place I went to see my Aunti Vi and Uncle Glenn! Glenn, you were always welcoming and forever the host, making sure everyone was comfortable, had a drink, food, or whatever it is they needed. I observed your generosity with friends and family. You treated us to many lunches and dinners at the Bar, but the best food was the most delicious steaks you barbecued at home. I enjoyed our debates, and your sense of humour. I'm grateful for our conversations and the time that we got to spend together, these last few years especially. There is no one like you. My condolences go out to all of your family and friends. You will be greatly missed. I know you are with Aunti again
My thoughts and condolences go out to the family. We have truly lost but never forgotten a wonderful and amazing person. I will never forget you Glenn you will forever be in my thoughts. Thank you for being such a big part of my life may you RIP.

Our deepest condolences to the Lackey family! Our hearts are deeply saddened for your loss. Glenn had a 'heart of gold' and compassion for everyone he met. We got to know him in the early 1980's, through the "Memories" bar and the always delicious $ 1.99 Steak Sandwiches. He was always personable, hospitable and well respected and had time for everyone. When Bob retired, on very short notice he came to help us celebrate, even though Vi was not well. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him. May God bless you all.

My sincerest condolences and sympathy to Glenn's family and friends. Glenn's smile always lit up a room, and he was such a joy to talk to. Glenn will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

We are sharing memories of Glenn and Vi this morning. He left Sk before I was born but I remember his regular visits back to the sticks. He,I think loved the long lazy highway and a good car. When I was a teenager visiting Calgary and headed “downtown “ to check out the scene, he gave me advice I have followed to this day, “ keep your eyes open and your mouth shut “. More recently Glenn and Vi joined us to watch Spring training in Phoenix. We drove Vi right up to the stadium and then found a parking spot. By the time we found Vi she had a popcorn a program anew Jersey and an usher moving us to better seats. Haha we will miss uncle Glenn’s drawling gentle voice and understanding chuckle. Love from Mary and Kevin.
