Condolences
With surprise and sadness I recently learned of Susan’s passing. We were friends for some time after we met in the 80’s. When Susan moved from Calgary, our lives gradually moved in different directions. I remember Susan’s yearning to live her life to the fullest, be her best, and to help others. I appreciated her zest for life, strong determination, and her holistic health interests. Thank you Susan for the many fond memories. My husband, Allan, and I offer our deepest condolences to the Switzer family.

It is with deep sadness that I extend my condolences to Susan’s family. I am Gertrude (Trudy) Leacock Thom and I knew Susan for over 32 years here in Miami. We both went to lunch on Saturday 11th Feb. 2023. I went to Miami Beach last night to dinner at Joes with a friend and after dinner I told her I have to take her to meet Susan who I have not heard from in the past 2 months. I left several messages but they went to voicemail. I thought maybe she went out of country doing one of her holistic courses. I even sent a text on Memorial Day updating her on my daughter Destinee who recently graduated from from college. In that text on Memorial Day I also invited her over but did not get a response. Last night I kept knocking … no answer so we went to the cigar shop next door and thats where I was told the sad news. I got very emotional and my dear friend Theresa assured me that Susan was looking down on us. I did share my phone contact with Angel. I would love to share hundreds of memories of the cherished relationship Susan had with my family over the years.

Dear Lorne, Nadine, and Families, please accept my condolences for Susan's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn. We are here for you and your family, now and forever.
Dear Lorne,
As an old friend of many years ago, please accept my condolences for the loss of your sister. I never had the pleasure of meeting Susan, but I know how hard it is to lose a relative, something that happens, alas, quite frequently when one reaches a certain age. You will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight and tomorrow while the Shiva is taking place
