Condolences
What can you say about Johnny Mac other than he is a fantastic person, a tradesman at its finest and a hair line that made most men cry. He was a staple in the civil construction community and am honoured to have had the privilege to know and work with Johnny. Can only think of the many discussions we had about welding, the money maker, the challenge, classic cars and obviously that hair line. Still don’t know how he tucked those locks away under that welding hat! Rest easy bud, thoughts to all.
You don’t meet too many people in life that everyone only has good things to say about, Johnny was one of them. He could put a smile on your face no matter how bad your day was, sometimes without even being near you. One morning I remember hearing him on the radio chatting with the morning show hosts from CJ92, and telling them to hold on a second while he ordered coffees for his coworkers in the drive thru, and they did wait for him to place his order.
He was one of a kind and I’m glad I had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
We are sure going to miss jack. Jack was the one that always carried a mazzive smile and sparkle. His stories were always so fun. We are going to miss his funny jokes and love. Linda, Johnny, Mark and Randi we love you beyond measure. Jack was not a brother In law to us he was our big brother whom always lead by example. May he rest in peace and continue to spread his love. ❤️❤️❤️love you all so much
Craig,Kim, Kylie, Jaydon Mack and nana,
Johnny, it's truly been an honor to have shared time with you. I worked with Johnny at Kidco for many years. My sincere condolences to Linda and the family. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the funeral, I am out of the country.
The Deslippe Family (Chuck, Emma & the girls), are so sorry for the loss of our neighbour. We will miss the sound of his truck coming and going, his wave as he drives by and the big smile he always had for you. Jack always made you feel welcome and he will be deeply missed.
We remember Jack as being a kind welcoming man. He was so easy to talk and laugh with. His love for his family was felt deeply. Our deepest condolences to Linda, John, Mark and the whole family. The Dalgleish-Morel’s
My friend is gone, I will always miss Johnny, we talked about the good fight and you give it your best like you did in life. Your love for Linda, John and Mark show true. I’m sure Milo is missing our walks. Three Hills car show will never be the same without you.
I first met John back in 1992, while finishing my last year of apprenticeship at Bradon Industries. We had some great times working on plant shutdowns all around Alberta, and quickly became good friends!
Both of us became welding contractors soon after, and did a lot of business together in the early years. We have always shared that bond ever since! It would be hard to imagine how different those important early days would have been without him. Through the years, John has been a great example of having a good home life, and being a true “every mans man”. It didn’t matter if you were a lawyer or a labourer, he could always relate to anyone.
Recently, John and I had some great opportunities to chat about those days, and about how proud he is of the work/life balance his son’s have achieved. My sincere condolences to Linda and the family, pass on what he taught you boys!

johnny mac it was an honor to be johns friend , he was more like a brother to me.
I spent a lot of time working with john over the years, you always knew you were going to have a good day when john was around.
he will be greatly missed.
It's with a heavy heart that I send the family my sincere condolences, I watched from the distant sidelines as my brother (Gord), Pat Dyck & Jack grew from boys to men. I had the privilege of teaching Mark (Steamfitter/ Pipefitter) when I was at SAIT, You could see the work ethic that Jack had instilled in his boys. Jack was always a class act.

Our condolences to the Macintyre Family.
I met John through a friend, and I'm fortunate for that.
Even after only meeting him a few times, I felt he was a friend of a long time.
I enjoyed his quick wit and humor, as well as his captivating stories.
He blew me away with his kindness and generosity by loaning me his Challenger for the weekend. Not many people I know would do that! He even told me not to baby it... so I didn't! I detailed and polished it for him in return. I still have some touch up paint in my cabinet.
He also introduced my daughter to the drag races at Race City by taking us there in the Challenger, and watching him race (and he won his matches).
I was always jealous of his vast Hot Wheel collection as they were all still in the packages.
He was definitely a gear head and will sorely be missed!
Thanks John, and have a cold one for me pal.
R.I.P. Johnny Mac!

Although we only saw each other at a handful of family events, I feel privileged to have known Jack as I did. Two things in particular:
1. He had his own wonderfully descriptive way of telling a story: "The guy musta been going a buck-forty down the road." You could picture the tale clearly.
2. When we'd say hello, Jack would always come in for THE best hug and peck on the cheek. A classy guy who always made you feel he was happy to see you.
Linda and family, I hope your memories of Jack bring you comfort and peace in the days to come.
Love,
Greta Grover

Everybody loved him as I did. Love forever brother.
Jonny The Welder,
He was a truly special person and it was a privilege to know him. I feel honored to have been a part of his life for the time that I was, and I know that he touched the lives of so many others in a positive and meaningful way. He will be greatly missed, but his memory and the impact he had on those who knew him will live on forever. Johnny was probably one of the most humble and nicest people I've ever met. He had a way of making everyone feel valued and important, and he always had a kind word to say. His selflessness and generosity were truly remarkable, and he had a positive impact on the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered as a shining example of how to treat others with kindness and respect. Please know that you have my deepest condolences and that I am here to support you during this difficult time.
I am honored to have known Johnny Mac. I will never forget what a good soul he was and his warm smile. My heartfelt condolences to you Linda and your family

Condolences to Johny Mac’s family. He was a great friend of our family. I remember often him and Jay would often take off from work just to go visit my dad. They’d always take coffee and dad would talk and tell me about Johny Mac and Bird showing up.
Great friend, great man.
Say hello to my dad when you see him.
Sending my deepest sympathies to you all. A bright soul gone to soon. Wishing you Love, Comfort and Peace during this time. Suzy and Family
