I am saddened to learn of Tom's passing, please accept my condolences.

I was fortunate to work with Tom for my first years at HDR when he was working with us as a Track Inspector Consultant. He helped us manage the construction of a track improvement project near Fort Saskatchewan and was the epitome of a professional. Beyond his skills in the field, Tom's real impact was his personality and demeaner. Always solution oriented, no problem was too big or daunting to be overcome and every problem was met with his big smile. He shared a career's worth of experience and stories with all of us, colleagues and clients alike, and mentored anyone who was wise enough to take advantage of it. I know I benefited from it and will carry those experiences with me throughout my career. Thank you Tom for all you did for me and the team and thank you to your family for sharing your time with us.
