Leslie George Elliott, 72, of Calgary, Alberta passed away March 22, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Les was born on May 26, 1950 to Gladys and Robert Elliott in Lethbridge, Alberta. Along with his wife of 53 years, Shirley, Les moved to Calgary in 1969 where he embarked on a 31-year career with the Calgary Fire Department and where he and Shirley eventually started their family.

Les will be immeasurably missed by Shirley, his sons Wade (Deb) and Ryan (Mary) and his seven grandchildren Anna, Jack, Blake, L.J., Kaitlynn, Zoey, and Kylie. Les is also survived by sisters Wendy Houghton (Art), Lynn Elliott (Jerry Ball) and Heather Lukey (Jerry) and countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and many, many great friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Watergrove Mobile Home Community Clubhouse (99 Arbour Lake Road NW, Calgary, AB T3G 4E4) on April 6, 2023 from 2:00- 5:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
