Condolences
Louise, Gord and I were so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I still have the beautiful painting he did for us of the little boat in the harbour. It always fails me to see how much time has gone by. We always think there is still time, but somehow it cheats us. We are so sorry for your loss. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me and Gord. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Sad to hear of Al's passing! He was always a nice, very intelligent guy to work with!
We were saddened to learn of Al’s passing. We have a lot of fond memories of and with him! He was so selfless when it came to making time for our dad. Bill Kerr. Whether it be arranging and picking him up to go for lunches at the fire hall with the guys or driving him out to the country to spend time with his grandkids. One incident comes to mind which is truly unforgettable!
We had just finished up with our visit and were getting Bill ready to leave. Al was well versed in all the details. Expert wheelchair handler. He would have to school me! We headed out the front door with kids right behind. As we bumped Bill down the first couple steps. As we continued down the steps the wheelchair began falling apart piece by piece till Bill was on gravel at the bottom. We all fell over laughing as Al looked horrified! He was a welcomed helpful man for whom we are grateful for. He will be remembered.
So sorry for your loss. I don't know if we ever had the pleasure of meeting but Al was a tremendous friend and support to our family and more specifically my dad, Bill Kerr. We will always remember Al fondly and treasure the memories and laughs we shared with him. I'm sure my dad will be one of the many waiting to welcome Al with open arms and pick up where they left off. <3
My sincere condolences on Al's passing. I worked with Al for many years on A Platoon and he was my fellow Captain at #10 Station. He was a great friend and firefighter and a pleasure to work and associate with. I will always have good memories of him and wish you the family all the very best.

Louise, we are so sorry for your loss. You two were the best neighbors we have ever had. Please accept our condolences and know that Al was much loved.
Sincere condolences. Al’s career choice was most fitting, he truly helped others, selflessly giving to all with no expectation in return. I worked with Al at 21 and my memories of what he did to help our firefighter brother Bill, was both wonderful and inspirational. His kindness and selflessness will never be forgotten.
Sorry to hear of Al’s passing. Condolences to the Dalton family.
