Obituary of Alan Richard Dalton

Alan Dalton, beloved husband of Louise Dalton, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the age of 76 years.
Alan was born in Morden, UK, on June 22, 1946. He graduated from Crescent Heights High School. From there he became a firefighter, joining the Calgary Fire Department in February of 1971, Alan continued his career with them until he retired in January of 2005. Alan had a passion for hiking, painting with oils, and history, especially Roman history. He even received a special mention at the Calgary Stampede for his oil painting. Alan had great memories travelling to many locations around the world as him and Louise were members of Intervac Home Exchange.
Alan is survived by his wife Louise Dalton. He was predeceased by his parents, Derek and Betty Dalton.
Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6), on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
