Condolences
I am so sorry to hear of Kerry’s passing, he was always so kind to me and so welcoming, I will remember him fondly. My condolences to Karen and all the family.
Our family was blessed to have had the enormous good fortune to have lived next door to Kerry and Yvette for over 10 years. As first-time home owners, it was daunting to look over at their garden that would have done Butchart Gardens proud; not to mention seeing their perfect lawn that wouldn't have been out of place at Augusta National. Perfection to say the least; but oh how Kerry and Yvette enjoyed gardening to keep it looking that way. Over the years much was learned from Kerry, who never failed to offer expert guidance or a tool (usually both) to rescue me from some ill-fated home repair task I thought I could tackle. He taught me so much. And with the arrival of our girls Dana and Erin, we'll always remember the silly songs Kerry would sing while bouncing one or the other of them on his knee. Now, many years later, I often find myself thinking of Kerry when coming up against a home repair or gardening project. I'll stop, wonder how Kerry would approach the job, and smile to myself like he was still working alongside me. Kerry was truly one of the best and an inspiration to so many. Wishing Yvette and all of the family peace and comfort.
We'll remember Kerry fondly as our affable and pleasant across-the-street neighbour, always up for a chat or a happy hour cocktail. We have fun memories of Kerry joining us on an impromptu neighbourhood Christmas carolling expedition years ago when our kids were little. Palliser misses him.
It was very sad news to hear about the passing of my Uncle Kerry. Uncle Kerry was a great man and was always there for his extensive family, friends and community. He and I shared our birthday and our middle name. My thoughts are with Auntie Yvette, Lorraine, Kevin and Karen, and their families, as well as all his friends. He was a truly great man and will be missed but never forgotten.
We spent many years together in the glory days of the oil patch with the B.A./Gulf Oil family of companies. Kerry was always the consummate professional, great motivator of staff and effective project leader.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and could entertain a crowd with a repertoire of song and very funny stories. A man of strong values and principles who will be truly missed. Our deepest condolences to the Hope family.

I am very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Kerry. Uncle Kerry was such an important person to my mom (Betty) and to all of us who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. He was such a positive person and just a pleasure to be around all the time. I would always look forward to dinners and other events when Uncle Kerry would be there as he always made time for me (and everyone) to tell stories, shake my hand (firmly) and to have a laugh. I am truly grateful to have had him as an uncle, and I will miss him dearly. He truly was one of a kind. My heart goes out to Auntie Yvette, and all of the family at this difficult time.
Condolences to the entire Hope family. Along with Kerry's passionate volunteering, he very inspirational to me in my rookie years at Gulf and BeauDril prior to his retirement. A great man indeed and will be missed.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear of the passing of Kerry. I have been friends with Karen for many years and saw her father at social gatherings in her home. I did not know him well, but always thought him a kind and lovely person. He was always spoken well of.
My deepest condolences to all of the family.
Our deepest condolences to Yvette and family. Kerry and I worked together at Gulf’s Purchasing Dept for many years.
He will be missed. May his soul rest in peace. Amen
May the Lord give strength and courage to family during these difficult days.

Karen often spoke of her wonderful experiences and now memories of her Father Kerry.
He will always be an inspiration and Father for family and friends.
Take care. Ann M
Kerry always told me I was the Omega to his Alpha, he started it back in 1980! I was proud to be included in his thoughts and prayers always and was so in awe of Kerry the son, brother, husband and father and his loyalty to all as well as devotion to his church, the Knights of Columbus and many volunteer activities. He was so inspiring and his love felt by all that knew him. I will never miss him more than today but also have so many memories that will keep my heart warm! Love you my Alpha brother!
D'Arcy Hope
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I believe Kerry provided a lot of joy and hope (he lived up to his name) for others in the many travels of his life. He was faith filled and dedicated using the talents God had given to him. I regarded him as a fine gentleman and a good friend. My heartfelt condolence to Kerry’s whole family and his many friends
