Obituary of Louise Ann Prenovost

July 30, 1952 - Montreal, Quebec

Prenovost, Louise passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the age of 70 years. Louise was born in Montreal, QC on July. 30, 1952 to parents, Jean and Robert-Guy Prenovost. In 1972, Louise travelled to the University of Alberta to study Education where she also met her husband Victor with whom she raised her sons in Calgary.

Louise was a passionate member of the Calgary Centre for Spiritual Living where she made many lasting friendships. She also volunteered for Results Canada which worked to end poverty around the world. Louise enjoyed travelling her whole life and had many memorable vacations with her dear friends and family at locations such as Shuswap Lake, Mexico, and the Panama Canal. Louise retired from the Calgary Catholic School District in 2019 after 32 years of successful teaching. She will be missed and remembered by her children, Daniel and Benjamin, siblings, Mary Jane and John of Montreal, QC, and her many friends.

A Celebration of Louise’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
