Condolences
I met Gord last year. He was such a great person to talk to, and I am very sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the family.
I have been a neighbour (2 doors down) for over 20 years. Gordon and Margaret welcomed us to the neighbourhood and were some terrific people. We talked golf, of course, travel amongst many topics.
Gordon had a sharp whit and was always helpful with us as neighbours.
RIP bud. Keep them in the fairway up there.

My brother was, indeed a golf enthusiast, but he was also keen to try other activities. When visiting Calgary we hiked up to the Lake Louise Tea House (where he then pulled out cans of coke he'd been carrying in his backpack, while we dipped our cups into the spring water!) , we paddled a stretch of white water on the Bow River near Cochrane and paddled the Elbow from the Glenmore Dam to Lindsay Park. We were headed for the Stampede grounds but ran out of daylight. We always got in a game of golf (and some instruction) when visiting but never knew what else we might be doing.
In 2004, Gordon organized a 60th birthday event for his sister, Lorna and me in Montana. At that event, Gordon asserted that the Forbes siblings' golf prowess was predicated on the way they wiggled their bottoms as they addressed the ball. He and his two brothers and sister demonstrated their technique.
My condolences to Gordon' family. I worked with Gordon in the Windsor Office for a number of years and came up with some interesting tax plans
.Best wishes to the family from his family in Windsor, Ontario not the other Windsors.
Gordon and I worked together at Clarkson Gordon/ EY in Calgary for many years and it was good to catch up at the retired partners annual dinner. I learned a lot about tax and client relations from Gordon and he had a real positive effect on my career.
I wish he taught me as much about golf as he did tax.
My thoughts and prayers are with Gordon and his family.
