Condolences
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ken and Shelley on the loss of Joanne. She was a near and dear friend of mine as we grew up. Her kind and bubbly personality I will always remember and Joan and I were honoured to have her as our bridesmaid.
God bless,
Joan and Allan Isted
Our heartfelt condolences to Ken and Shelley. Joanne left a legacy of joyful, loving memories….
Remembering Joanne…
I remember immediate warmth and acceptance when I met Joanne.
I remember her, Ken and Shelley welcoming our family into their home each summer in Regina for our annual trek.
I remember Joanne sitting with our girls on her lap, carefully spreading each of their little toes on the hunt for toe jam.
I remember her Deep Dark Chocolate Cake - still my favourite.
I remember sitting around the dining table, listening to her childhood stories of growing up in Edenwold, imagining her then.
I remember how she enjoyed our family games, always bringing fun and laughter to the table.
I remember her pride when completing her nurses aid course.
I remember she and my Mom sharing giggles and a cigarette outside together.
I remember Joanne spoiling Darcys staff each Christmas with trays of baking and in the summer a big Stampede breakfast.
I remember her deep love and pride for all her family.
I remember helping her climb the ramp to see our new home still under construction, her cane didn’t dampen her enthusiasm. She said she could sit on the deck all day, ‘watching for bears.’
Thank you Joanne for sharing your love and joy, we will always carry that with us. ❤️

Joanne was truly one of a kind. We have so many wonderful memories of curling with her and Ken. She was a kind, sweet lady who lived family. Our deepest sympathy.

Our deepest Condolences Ken & Shelley, when we think of Joanne she puts a smile on our faces. Joanne had a warm Heart. Since moving in next door to you Joanne never walked by or stood at the fence with out saying hello.
She always asked how my Mom was doing or ask how our Kids and Grandchildren were doing. Or when our Grandkids ran up to their door she was always happy to see the kids. Joanne used to make her famous Cinnamon buns and bring them over.
Joanne Will truly be missed.

Dear Ken and Shelley, so sorry for your loss. Joanne was such a lovely lady and terrific neighbour. I will always cherish living next door to all of you in Regina. I will plant some portulacas in the yard this year in her memory. She introduced me to them…vibrant like her!
Dear Ken & Shelley,
Joanne was just one of those beautiful people in our life and the world. Our memories are filled with so many good times (curling, cottage & family gatherings). Oh!!, I can't forget about those brownies of hers. Our thoughts & prayers are with both of you.
Love, Garth, Linda & your Aunt Ruth.
Dear Ken and Shelley,
Joanne was such a loving, generous and fun-loving sister/sister-in-law. We have so many happy memories of family times spent together. Family camping trips, parties, dinners, barbecues, making perogies and canning dills together at your house. She always made everyone welcome and brought the fun. One of our best memories was the holiday when we joined you in Hawaii. We’ll all miss her everyday. Sending you our love.
Ken and Wendy.
