Condolences
Condolences to Elaine and the kids and extended family. I’ll miss my buddy, no more golfing with the man, no more Friday Filos, no more Pig tales. RIP buddy..
Elaine and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Norm's passing. He was a special man with a big heart and and big smile. We enjoyed our years together in Kinsmen and Kinettes.
One special memory comes to mind of having you and family, I believe Ryan as a babe, in for supper in our new little house in Huntington Hills. I had built a ping pong table out of a sheet of plywood.....hinges in the middle for storage and 2X4 wobbly legs!!! Finished construction that day. So hadn't played on it. Norm served first...I didn't return a serve as they around my ears or in my belly. He was good!!! It was my turn to serve... I did and Norm leaning over the table was about to spike back with all his power!!!! He slipped and landed square in the middle of the table. The wobbly legs collapsed!!!! My concern was that he was alright which he was....only damage was to his athletic ego. We laughed,,,, actually we split a gut..... Barb and you laughed of course after your scolding of my good friend!!!!! I am chuckling as I write this. It was so funny. The ping pong table was no more.... became part of my garage wall. Norm and I reminisced/laughed about that event many times over the years. We loved his sense of humor.
Take care of yourselves and keep the many fond memories as a family close to your hearts.
RIP Norm....Some day we will sing "Here we are together once again"
You were a special friend.
