We were neighbours in our mountain getaway and always looked forward to spending time with the 3 of you when you came out. Jon was always a great host along with you Melonie and Grayson. John was one of my brothers closest friends growing up. He was always very kind to me even though I was the younger sister always trying to tag along. I remember him colouring with me, and somehow he had all the skills, he even knew how to shade with a crayon!! When I grew up and moved away from my family he would still reach out when we were in similar cities, to share a meal and even a couple drinks. He was a wonderful human and my whole family will dearly miss him. Sending lots of love to his wife and son and entire family. May you know John was special to a lot of people.

You will be missed Jon! We didn’t get to hang out much, but I am grateful for the times we did have. I always thought you were the smartest guy the room. And I am so grateful that Mel and Grayson had you, even if it was for too short of a time. Thank you for all you gave us.
