I met Fred and Loreto while on vacation in Cuba and I have to say that he wasn't only the life of the party, but the life of the entire resort. I will never forget that vacation and will always cherish those good memories.

May you rest in peace po, Tito Fred. Tita Lori, Kuya Tim, Maria and family - you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Kuya Fred was truly a presence larger than life. I remember when I first met him, I'd just entered Nanay's birthday party and within minutes he made a beeline..promptly introduced himself, asked if I like karaoke, if I knew how to line dance and wanted a drink in short order.
He was vivacious, charismatic and funny as heck! In a room full of big personalities his was often the largest. Full of jokes and laughter, sage advice and some head scratchers for sure, he was always one to share his point of view. He will never be forgotten..because of him, we'll always remember to fill the room with laughter, dance to our favourite songs and sing loudly- just because..I feel blessed to have known him.

Dear Loretta and Family, it is with deep sadness to learn of Fred’s passing, albeit quite anticipated. It has been said that the greatest loss on earth is that of parent, children and spouses. Your loss falls into these. We remember with fondness how visibly excited and smitten you were when you introduced Fred to us 50 years ago at Jameson Avenue in Toronto. Love prevailed, thrived and endured until the end . The road ahead May or may not be easy. When sadness sets in, pray and know that Jesus loves you, and is always there to comfort you! Dwell on the beautiful memories and leave all to God’s will! Our condolences! Aurora, Carlo n Mark
