Obituary of Charles Paul Nixdorff

December 17, 1957 - April 20, 2023

Charles Nixdorff, beloved husband of Josie Nixdorff (nee Dombowsky), of Rocky View County, AB, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the age of 65 years.

Charles was a caring and loving husband and father; he was loved by both his family and friends. Charles spent most of his life as a farmer, at the age of 55 he retired, due to a serious injury. His injury made the last years of his life challenging, but he remained positive through it all. Charles’ easy-going nature and friendly personality were admired by everyone who knew him. Prior to his injury, Charles was very active. He enjoyed curling, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends.

Charles is survived by his wife Josie, his three children, Teresa, Janine, and Joey; mother Edna, sister Maxine Creasser, and brother Clark.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
