Condolences
I will miss Nana and her constant support she provided throughout my life. She came to support me even at my first job at Arby's in Chinook mall. She didn't say hi because she didn't want to interrupt me, but I could see her sitting in the food court watching me while I took fries in and out of the deep fryer. Like Scott, I remember sleepovers at Nana's with the ticking clock, heated blanket and butterfly sheets. My friends and I would bike to her house in the summertime and she would always feed us her delicious baking and let us hang out in her basement. She even sewed a little vest for my favourite teddy bear when I was little and I still have the bear with his vest to this day. I was hoping she would be able to meet our newest addition that is arriving soon, but I know how lucky I am that she was able to get to know Josie and Sadie. XOXO Nana
I was lucky to spend lots of my childhood visiting Nana. Big memories for me are her taking us to the Glenbow Museum to see the glow in the dark rocks, teaching us to paint, and how could I forget sleeping in the den with the ticking clock and the electric blanket :) Crokinole in the basement and throwing my crash test dummy toys down her stairs. She always made an effort to give thoughtful gifts and I still to this day have the Risk boardgame she gave me when I was in my teens. Best of all both Nana and Papa got to meet and hold Charlotte and Penelope when they were just babies. Love you Nana XOXO
