Wilda, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you adjust to your loss. I counted Ron as a close friend and will miss him sorely. We rubbed along well together for over forty-four years and enjoyed attending some Okotoks Dawgs games over the past few.

I was very saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. He was a special man whom I looked forward to seeing for the past while every Thursday for our bowling team. I will miss his teasing and quick wit. RIP Ron! ❤️

What a crib player! He was a great sport whether he was winning or losing! We will certainly miss him at the Malchow family reunions with all his teasing and kibitzing while playing crib. The endless teasing and just good clean fun will also be missed by all his family and friends. My heartfelt condolences to Wilda, Donald, Colleen, Kathy, and Doug and all their families. He’s left quite a legacy through all of you. There will never be another Ron Burns!!!

A wonderful man I have only known for a short time. He was on our bowling team -- the only man with 4 women. He was our 'rock' on the team and will be greatly missed
