Condolences
When I worked at the Balzac Gas Plant, so long ago, Gord and I worked on the shifts that compliment each other ( I would relieve him and he would relieve me). He was the smarter guy for troubleshooting problems, it was a pleasure following him.
I left Balzac but Gord stayed, so I got to catch up about Balzac because of Gord. I did loosely stay in touch with Gord, the nice thing about Gord is he always had time for you.
Later when he was confined to the wheel chair I tried to make regular visits, I enjoyed talking with him. I think I got more out of the visits than Gord, this is because he always welcomed me.
I did not get to see last year, 2022 was not my best year as I lost my daughter. I still feel bad about that.
My condolences go out to the family
I also knew Gord from working at Balzac. He was always so good to work with and we spent lots of time outside of work golfing in the summer. I was lucky enough to go to Florida with Gord for a work trip and we had such a great time. He was such a great guy! Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I knew Gord' from the days at Balac in the late 90's/early 2000s. You just had to respect him for how hard he worked and how he related to all of us in the operations group. He gave is best and expected your best. It's been an honour know Gord, Peace and strength to the family and all who knew Gord.

Remembering the day we first met. Fall, 1993 Airdrie Bowling Alley. The fun trips, the card games (that the girls won most of the time). That goofy smile after! Barry sitting on your lap, serenading you and you letting him. Such a wonderful man and great friend! You will be truly missed. My heart felt love goes out to Bert, kids, and the rest of the family!
