Condolences
The gift… Jim Brickman, you r our gift .. love you always
So sorry to hear of Carrie’s passing. I will always remember being greeted with her beautiful: smile, blonde bouncy hair, and blue eyes. She was a go getter, and moved through life’s ups and downs with determination and a compassionate sense of humour. Sarah, she always spoke of you with so much love in her heart.
Sarah (and family), I am truly sorry for your loss!
Your mom always had a smile on her face and was always a joy to be around. I will remember all of our adventures, including Sandpoint, and other fun gatherings and trips. The look on her face while wakeboarding - priceless!
She will be missed, my deepest condolences during this difficult time.
Russ Beaudin.
Carrie and I were coworkers at Telus, and we remained close friends after I left Telus. We would try out new restaurants together, as Carrie loved new experiences . She enjoyed listening to a variety of music and if there was a live band playing, that’s where we headed. We could go for lunch and talk for hours, or we’d go for hikes with no destination in mind … talking for hours. Nature is food for the soul. She loved animals and they loved her. She’d often come pick up Otis and they’d go for a run together. The laughs, the tears, the stories, the dreams … these I will hold in my heart forever. Angel, by Sarah McLachlan was a song that had deep meaning, and one of her favorites. Carrie, my sweet Carrie … may you find comfort in the arms of angels now. Love you and miss you.
I have so many great memories, I don't even know where to begin. All our childhood trips to Hawaii where we were so sunburnt we couldn't sleep at night and all the locals being so mesmerized by our platinum blonde curly hair. Camping down the west coast at all the KOAs and being so excited to play Pacman with the quarters we earned. Rollerskating in the basement to Billy Squier. Skiing in the trees at every resort and finding all that loose change. Locking ourselves in the gazebo when that "scary boy" chased us in our backyard. Sleeping in the van on the driveway in Edmonton pretending we were on a road trip. Having sleepovers on the weekend in your bedroom even though we lived in the same house. I will forever miss you! "Like a lightening bolt, your heart will glow and when it's time, you'll know".
Sarah, Pat, Leo and Cindy. My condolences to you all. My memories of my dear Carrie (Viv) just keep smashing in. Pat, do you remember making us dresses for NYE at The Banff Springs? I spent a lot of time and apartments with Carrie and am overwhelmed everytime I think about a moment we shared. She was a lovely lady and am privileged to call her my friend.
Dear Pat, Leo and Cindy,
My thoughts are with you as I remember our fun trips and the two little girls so special to Ron and I.
All my love
Sheryl
My mom was the most loving and supportive person in my life, always pushing me to follow my dreams and enjoy every minute of life. I am so grateful that I had her by my side through everything and I hope she knew just how much I love her. I will miss her forever, but I feel so happy to know she was so loved by many many friends and family. Shine bright, momma bear, you always did and always will.
