My whole heart goes out to the Elwood family - having lost the patriarch, matriarch and son Neil in such a short period of time. Neil was a cherished friend growing up in Mayland Heights, and I had many chances to meet his dad and mom. Sheila had such a sweet spirit, and I saw a lot of Sheila in Neil and vice versa. In life, we have connections that might seem ephemeral. But I'd like the Elwood family know I've lived my life with nothing but fond memories of members of the Elwood family I had the pleasure to meet and spend time with. Even before I saw this sad news, I would think of Neil and his family and hoped for the best for you. My heart aches for all of you. I wish you all peace and healing.
