Condolences
I don’t know if grandma Shirley will remember Dave & I from Tasu but we’re heartbroken that Brenda has passed away so soon. We had so many happy times around Brenda’s coffee pot:) I’ve got so many memories of Jordan, Michael & Randy…I remember flying to Rupert with our kids (Lindsay & Greg) & taking the train to prince George to stay with Brenda & the boys for a couple of weeks while Ed was at the mine. Brenda was so much fun and I’ll never forget her laugh. When I thought I couldn’t teach Sunday school Brenda encouraged me so much that I tried it and did it for 30 years! I’m so thankful for that Brenda believed in me:) We’re from Manitoba so one summer Ed & Brenda were going to camp their way to Ontario & asked me if I wanted to join them (they always made everyone feel welcome & they meant it) and they offered to drop me off at my brother’s place in Saskatchewan. Although my family owned a fishing camp in fort st James I had never camped…and I loved it! Sitting around the campfire such happy memories. The Volkart’s even invited Dave & I to a fancy AA banquet at the empress hotel in victoria:) Coca Cola must’ve made a mint that weekend:/ Brenda is a wonderful person and I look forward to sharing many laughs with her when we meet in heaven. Pam & Dave Weiss (Lindsay & Greg) shout out to Margaret, Rene, Jeff, Reg & Nellie!
