Obituary of Brenda Lee Leonew

Brenda Leonew of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the age of 64 years.

Brenda was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada on January 19, 1959.  She is survived by her three sons, Jordan, Randy and Mike, grandchildren Jesse and Mila, Her Mother Shirley as well as her sisters Beverly, Carol, Carmen.

Brenda relocated to Alberta about two years ago after living Cariboo region of central British Columbia for almost 20 years.  She embraced the beauty that High River and Alberta offered, she loved to attend concerts and always took in as much of the Calgary Stampede as she could.  Daily, she could be found out walking her dogs (Scout and Baker) at the off-leash park, by the river or Frank Lake.  She was also very grateful to the kind people at Shaganappi and Foothills Salvation Army.  It was such a blessing to have gramma live so close to her grandchildren during her remaining time with us. Her kind spirit and gentle soul will be missed deeply.

Special thanks to the Staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre who treated Brenda with care, compassion and shared many laughs with her during her unfortunate stay there.
