To the McCaffery family,
We were very sad to hear about Dennis’ passing. He was a grand and generous figure, always so kind to our family, inviting my parents to stay with them in Calgary, or even use the house if Dennis and Charlotte happened to be away. It’s hard to put into words the effect that sort of kindness and connection has on a friendship and extended family. It’s priceless, really. Please accept our deepest condolences on your loss.

Charlotte and Family,
Saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved Dennis. I have such fond memories of my Mom and Dad speaking so highly of both of you. I remember Mom hosting several "big" Italian dinners in our home followed by great accolades from Dennis about how no one could hold a candle to her cooking. His passing will leave a big whole in the fabric of your family.
Amy (Coppola) Veldhoen
Char, Tracy, Joe and James please accept my sincerest condolences .
Since learning of his passing my mind has been flooded with many fond memories of Dennis. The lunches at the Big 4, our road trip to London Ont. which naturally included a side trip to Ann Arbor and a game at the "big house", hearing of his travels and his undying to devotion to all of you.
It was a privilege to have practiced with Dennis. He was living proof that one could be successful in the legal world without losing the capacity for kindness and good humour.
While I understand how difficult this loss is for you please find some small measure of comfort in the knowledge that his was a life well lived that touched many who today, share in a small way, your loss.
Rick

Sending condolences and love to the entire McCaffery / Parks Clan.
From 1982 onward, the McCaffery's were like my second family, and I have many fond memories of the hours spent in their Canyon Meadows basement, kicking up or ungodly musical racket, with no small thanks to the generosity and tolerance of both Dennis and Charlotte..
Dennis was a great man.
Sorry I cannot be there in person for the service, but I am there in spirit.
Love you guys.

Carlene and I are very saddened to read of Dennis's passing. He was a friend of my mother Laverne and father Mel during their shared youth. May your bright memories of Dennis comfort you and lift your hearts.
Charlotte and family
I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you. I have fond memories of Dennis as such a kind, gentle and friendly man who was not only a trusted lawyer to my mom and dad but also a friend and frequent household guest. He sure loved moms cooking! My thoughts are with you in your time of loss.
