Condolences
Dear Family, Shawna was my sister's best friend in Red Deer. Although, she hung around mainly with my sister, I got to know her. One found memory of her was playing crokinole with her in our backyard. Tapping around the ball through the metal frames and laughing with her and my sister. Having her come to our house Halloween party dressed up in some costume. : O She had an infectious laughter. We were surprised and deeply saddened to her she had passed away. May you and your family find deep comfort at this difficult time. Our prayers our with you.
Dear Art, I am sad to hear that Shawna passed away. I knew Shawna when she lived in Stratford. She was a bright and enthusiastic person - always with a smile. She is gone far too soon. Very sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Shawna's family. I knew Shawna from High School. She was one of the cool kids. I didn't know her that well but I do remember her in many classes. She was a wonderful person that will be missed
Sending my sincere condolences to you Art and your family and to Derek and his family. I am so thankful for my visit to you and Shawna in Okotoks in September. Shawna was so vibrant, so happy….her laughter so contagious. It was a wonderful afternoon of sharing family remembrances. Her grandmother Ruth was a very special aunt to we Bennett girls. Sending you caring hugs.
Working with Shawna taught me so much, she always brought her A game. I was fortunate to have our working relationship evolve into a friendship. Shawna will be so missed. Our deepest condolences to Art and family.
Art So very sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure getting to know Shawna. We enjoyed our time together in both Ontario and your home in Okotoks. Shawna was a great hostess and very welcoming. May your many memories bring you comfort. May family and friends give you support at this sad time. Don and Sharon
I was fortunate enough to get to see Shawna in action as she Chaired the United Way/Okotoks Partnership Committe. She was passionate, committed, dedicated and you could see how much she loved her community. She embraced and chased every initiative that she believed in wholeheartedly. I will remember Shawna's energy, dancing and enthusiasm. My thoughts are with you and your entire family Art.
Shawna was a wonderfully hard-working and dedicated volunteer who was always networking and coming up with new ideas to raise awareness and funds for social issues. Shawna was such an engaged community member and was so passionate about making her community the best place for all. Shawna's warm personality and caring nature will be missed. What a huge loss for her family and her community! My condolences to the family - I can only imagine how much you will miss Shawna.
