I first met Leonore on a two week bus tour to Eastern Europe, along with her daughter, Diane. After this wonderful two weeks I called this amazing woman “mum”! Her caring, kindness and also, sense of humour, were exemplary. At 101 years old her body and mind were still youthful. While visiting Diane in Westbank, Leonore, at age 90, insisted we go bowling! I know she golfed at age 90 as well! She was always happy with a smile on her face. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, Diane and Bob.

It was truly a pleasure knowing Leonore. She is deeply missed.

Leonore was a kind and generous woman who made a difference in so many lives. She was a well respected educator in the Calgary Board of Education where she established a strong literacy program for the students of CBE. She was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

So sorry to hear of Leonore’s passing. Leonora was a long time member of Central United Church. She will be deeply missed
