Condolences
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your father. I first met Frank when I became a training officer with Calgary Transit and he soon became the person I went to when issues came up where I required help. He was a person who would take the time to talk to anyone whether or not he was busy. In addition to being a co-worker, Frank, Jean, Peggy and I attended many Calgary Transit functions together over the years.
Frank's smile and pleasant personality brightened many of my days and the days of many others. Frank was a fine man and I am fortunate to have had the pleasure of being his co-worker and friend.

Brenda and family……
Frank was an exceptional person. He was kind, he was caring, and he had a great sense of humour. I know that in our family he will be remembered very fondly.
I have known Frank for a very long time through Wild Rose United Church. I always enjoyed talking to Frank after the service. He always seemed to be driving for the "boys at the Legion". Frank always had a positive attitude and a chuckle that made him a pleasure to be around. I last spoke to Frank a few months ago through the Pastoral Care Committee having no idea that would be our last conversation together. Like so many others, I will really miss Frank.
My deepest condolences on the passing of Frank. He will forever live in the memories and hearts of so many of us who had the pleasure of knowing him. I had the pleasure of knowing Frank for many years through the Colonel Belcher. We shared many laughs together; I'm lucky to have been able to call him my friend. I will always be thankful for the friendship we shared.
To all of Frank’s surviving family members. We, Ken and Helen Girling, would like to offer our sincere condolences on your fathers passing. We have had a very long connection with your family, one way or another for over two generations. As Ken and Larry were good friends in high school, Frank and your mother, Jean actually went to high school with Ken’s parents.
As a teenager I, Ken, still vividly remember sitting in the living room and kitchen of your home, on North Haven Drive, exchanging stories and good laughs with your dad Frank, your mom Jean, and all of you Brenda, Larry, Gerry, Jeff, and Brad. For a period in my life, it was like my second home. I have nothing but fond and happy memories of the Stone family. As we know you will, please take care of each other during this trying time. Again, we offer our condolences, love and best wishes to you and yours.
I used to see Frank at the North Hill Shopping Centre at least twice a week. He went out of his way to be friendly to me. I'll miss him.

To the Stone family:
I was saddened to read of your dads passing.
May your heart soon be filled with wonderful memories as you celebrate a life well lived.
I met Frank and his family years ago when he became the coach of our baseball team in the Calgary "Big League" Baseball Association.
Our team had a blended amount of skill and Frank had a way of getting the best out of each player making our team very competitive. This was accomplished by his compassion for people, knowledge of the game and he was well respected by our team and the league.
When I think of Frank, a smile always comes to my face.
Rest in peace my friend.

Frank and Jean and their kids were our next door neighbours for around 50 years in North Haven. Frank was always wearing a smile and joking. We also watched Larry, Brenda, Jerry, Brad and Jeff grow up here and Jeff still is our neighbour. Our condolences to all of his family.
Pat, Carol and family
I was very sad to hear this news but he and Jean are together again now. I have so many fond memories growing up across the street from Frank and then in later years at Wild Rose United Church. He was a kind and generous soul. My condolences to the whole family from myself and the rest of the Ellis clan.
