We offer our condolences to Diane's children, grandchildren, siblings, and nieces and nephews. As a first cousin, and growing up with only one between us on Parkway Blvd in Flin Flon, I remember fondly the Saturday morning softball games at Queen's Park. Diane was the ringleader, she rounded up as many neighbourhood kids as possible for a team or two. She loved the sport. We corresponded at Christmas time during her years in The Pas, and then Sylvan Lake. Our last visit in person was in 2002 when I helped to organize the Woloshyn reunion at Clear Lake. Diane was in a happy place then, and that's how I'd like to remember her, dating her first love. I'm sure she was a fabulous Grandma with her quick wit and laughter, but also straight moral compass.
