Santiago worked for me as a camera trainee and 2nd AC on a few different projects. He was very keen and a hard worker, and spoke about his aspirations for directing films.
Even when working on an ambitious commercial project that was above his experience level (pictured below), Santiago took on the challenge, putting all his effort in to keep the camera department running, we couldn’t have done it without him. He was a positive presence on set and a motivated worker; I always enjoyed having him on set.
