Condolences
A great neighbor a very caring person, she will be missed
To Brandy and Families,
I'm so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I met Donna in the early 1980's when I was hired to work in the accounting department of the Husky Oil Bi-Provinvial Upgrader project. I still remember the first time I met her. I walked into the office and there was this beautiful lady standing there to greet me, it was Donna. She had a wonderful smile and a welcoming look in here eyes. I knew right then and there we would be friends forever. I was a single mom with a young son, Donna had a young daughter that was the apple of her eye so we had other things in common other than our work. My job finished at HOBPU and I went onto to other jobs in Calgary. In 1996 I moved back to my home town of Kamloops but regardless of where I was we always kept in touch via phone calls, birthday cards, Christmas cards etc. I miss talking with her, hearing her laugh and seeing my beautiful friend. I will cherish the time we spent together. Its not good-bye, its until we meet again. Love you always. Carla Sjodin (nee Bullock)
Donna will be missed by all who knew her. She fought bravely and gracefully, and made time for us through it all. She was a good friend. May she rest peacefully.
Auntie Donna was the Most Beautiful person inside and out. Donna we all know was the most postive, loving, supportive, caring person. I’m very Blessed to have had Donna as my Auntie. She and my Late Mother were best friends from way back before I was even born. Auntie was a second Mother to me and her advice and knowledge I will carry through the rest of my lifes journey. One tough cookie Auntie Donna was. I will miss her Forever! Auntie Donna I will look for you in the Birds and feel your love with the Sunshine on my face. Till we meet again. Love you Bunches xxoo
Donna was the first person I met when I moved to Calgary forty-eight years ago. I was hired at the accounting firm where she worked and we became close friends. She trained me in my new job and was the most supportive person I have ever worked with. She always found time to help no matter how busy she was herself. Through the years we were roommates, shared some crazy adventures, raised our daughters around the same time, and always found time to get together. Donna was a constant in my life, a wonderful friend who made the world a better place. I will forever cherish the time we had together, and keep the friendship we built close to my heart. Brandy, Audrey, and family, may your memories of Donna help you find peace.

It was a huge honour and privilege to have Donna McCoy consider me a friend and peer. She was the most amazing woman, always ready to welcome you, always ready to stop what she is doing to lend an ear, and so very quick with a hug. She always listened with her heart. Donna did everything heart first, I am truly missing her each and everyday. I know in my heart that our Father God saw she was faltering and was in bad need of rest, so he took her home where there is no pain and she can rest in peace. Till we see you again lovely lady... Rest in Peace - Lyne Barnes
I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Donna (albeit from a remote location), for almost 12 years. She was so helpful, kind and encouraging when I was new and always made me feel like was a valued member of the team. If there isn’t a picture of her in the dictionary beside the word “integrity”, there should be. She was an awesome lady. Condolences to her family.
