Condolences
I knew Carol when we lived in varsity acres. We went to kindergarten together in varsity acres community hall then to varsity acres elementary and the high schools in the area. I remember playing Barbie’s with Carol on Saturday afternoon. This is sad news and my condolences to carols family

Dear Terry and Family,
We are so very sorry to hear Carol has passed away.
She was a beautiful light and we feel fortunate to have spent
some time with her at one of her favorite places Kalamalka Lake.
With our deepest condolences, Calvin and Liz Helfrich
Carol & I worked together at the E.R.C.B. in the mid-1980's. I remember her well as a responsible, hard-working colleague who applied herself diligently to every aspect of her work. I respected and appreciated her for it. It is so sad that she has passed at the young age of 60 years. No doubt hers was a life well lived: Rest in Peace and Comfort, Carol.
With sincere condolences to her family and friends,
Ann Broughton (was Gervais)
I am so very sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. Her and I were co-presidents together of the twins club years ago and got to be good friends. We shared many good times and so many laughs, especially at our retreats. She spoke often of her kids and was very proud of them all. She will be dearly missed.
My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Thinking of the Kraychy’s today.
Ever since meeting Carol and the rest of the family as a kid, Carol has supported our friend group and helped shape us into the adults we are today. Hockey, volleyball, golf, or whatever activity, Carol was always there cheering loud and proud. Carols dedication, volunteering, and positive outlook were so admirable and will truly be missed!

To Terry, Minnie, Jenna, Adam and the rest of the family,
I can not begin to imagine the pain and loss you are all going through. Carol was an amazing mother and I know she was so proud of all her kids. I am so thankful I was able to meet her. It was never a wonder to me after meeting Carol where Marinna got her determination and responsible attitude from. I remember receiving the highest praise I felt I could get from Carol when Marinna and I were heading out late one night to a go somewhere (likely either to a hockey game or club) and Carol had seemed so worried on the phone until Marinna mentioned I was there and Carol took a pause and said, "okay well so long as Sabrina is there I trust you will be safe". Strangley enough it is still one of my highest honors I have ever received because I knew just how much Carol worried whenever we went out. I am so happy she was able to meet Edith and I know Edith will be growing up hearing many fond memories of Carol. I wish you all the best as you work through this difficult time and please know that should you ever need anything, myself and the Adams are here to help with anything we can.

Terry, Marina, Jenna, Adam.
We are thinking of you in this time of loss.
We met this family during our hockey days with Bow Valley and came to know Carol as a devoted mother and partner. Family was everything to her. In later years we worked together at AHS. Carol had an amazing work ethic and well loved in our office.
Carol offered a respite outing with Marinna and shared their horse with us when our daughter became it'll. This was a very special moment and will always be appreciated.
Carol will be missed by many but never forgotten.
We pray that your family can find comfort in her legacy.
May eternal rest be granted unto her.
God Bless. Terri and STEVEN ROSS.

I met Carol in Vancouver couple of years ago for the first time with Jenna. What a warm, gentle and wonderful soul. An encounter I will always cherish.
We all had lunch together at our favorite restaurant.
Thinking of Carol for her kindness, love and affection.
Prayers for peace, light, love and eternal rest of her soul. Ameen
We were so saddened to hear of carols passing . Carol and I met at the twin club in Calgary and shared many laughs and some trips to Banff with the twin club. 200 plus mothers of multiple births!! We also soon discovered she and my husband Daryl went to school together . One fond memory for us was when we met up with Carol , Terry and kids at Kalamalka lake . That is when Daryl learned to “ barefoot ski” alongside The Kraychy boat! Such a fun day , very memorable and often reminisced! We send the Kraychy and Chorny family our heartfelt sympathies xx Judy and Daryl Henry
My thoughts are with you Terry and family. Carol befriended me when I first moved to Canada and we had a lot of fun on school days going to lunch at her house. I will miss her long newsy letters at Christmas time as everything sounded so special and she was so proud of her family! Rest in peace Carol.
