Elaine, Carol and I offer our condolences on your loss.
Elaine and family. Thinking of you with sincere sympathy. Hoping that each new day will bring you comfort and peace. John and Fran Bradley
Our deepest sympathies to our sister, Elaine and our nieces Jennifer & Sheryl.
I met my future brother-in-law in high school 64 years ago. We were in the same class and majored in Electronics. Nigel was one of the first friends I had in that class, and was loyal to me, as I had difficulty fitting in that first year. I will be forever grateful to him.
Little did we know that a few years later he would meet and marry my sister Elaine and would continue a friendship, (albeit a long distance one over the next 64 years).
Again , Nigel would remain a loyal and supportive friend through personal struggles over the next 25 years. I always felt welcomed and supported by Nigel and Elaine. My wife Carolyn , and I have many fond memories of times both in Ottawa and Calgary of visiting, vacations, dining, golfing, site seeing, and conversations and laughs.
We admired Nigel as a wonderful husband to Elaine, and father to his two daughters, Jennifer & Sheryl, and grandfather to his grandchildren.
Rest in peace Nigel, you will be missed.
Carolyn & Ken
My heart and soul go out to the family who are left in sorrow on the passing of Nigel. he is gone from our sight but will never leave our memories. Dwell on his journey and not the ending for Nigel led a full and enriching life and loved his family deeply.
A star shines bright in the heavens welcoming Nigel home. love and blessings.
To my sister Elaine and nieces, Jennifer and Sheryl and their families my deepest condolences. Nigel will be forever in our hearts and I know he will be missed by everyone. From the times we spent camping together, horse back riding, curling, playing ping pong on the dining room table, visits to Toronto and summer holidays together, both in Toronto and Calgary, we have many fond memories. Love to the family.
Sorry to here the bad news of my cousin have not seen him since he lived in Ottawa across the fence from my Dad in the Glebe I live in Australia now so to far for me me to go all my love Dennis Proulx
Despite the inevitable constraints of geographical distance, Nigel and all of you in Alberta have always been, and will remain, an important part of the Johns clan in Britain. Auntie inez and I share in your loss and treasure the numerous happy memories: of cream tea in Victoria, buskers in Florence, the fisher wives choir in Willemstad, the white cowboy hats at the welcome to Calgary airport and many more. Of such things are happy lives made.
We are thinking of you and sending love at this poignant time.
Ian x
