Condolences
I was very shocked when receiving the call from Andrew regarding Ali’s sudden collapse @ home. I have known Ali since the Anthropology class @ U of M in 1977. Attended their wedding in 1980. More interaction when they were in Winnipeg. Since then, I kept in touch with them when they moved to Downtown Toronto, later North York. Eventually they decided to settle in Calgary. Whenever we were in Calgary, I usually tried to make contact. Few times we met @ the teapot place for dim sum & Hong Kong style lunch. I am very glad & grateful to have a good friend in Ali. RIP to my special long time friend. This must have been a tremendous shock to Andrew, her sister, May, her nephews, her relatives & friends. I know for sure she is reunited with her parents especially her dad. May God give the grieving family comfort & strength during this trying time of their lives Too bad we could not have met up when we were in Calgary in 2018. Also I remember I had talked with Ali & Andrew few months ago. Farewell to my Special friend, Ali. I shall miss you a lot. Good rest.
I'm so, so sorry for your loss. All the best to you and your family.
